Executive Chef – Ben Cohen
A L’Academie de Cuisine graduate, Chef Cohen has been working in the culinary field for 12 years, honing his fine dining skills under well respected Chefs like Michel Richard and Daniel Guisti. Prior to his work with WK Steak, Cohen held the Executive Sous Chef position at Brewer’s Alley, where he progressed the culinary programs with an attentiveness to seasonality and artistry. Next, he took on the role of Executive Chef at Cafe Nola in Frederick, MD, where he specialized in Appalachian Cuisine and focused on house-made charcuterie and cheese. At WK Hearth, Chef Cohen will continue to build upon his commitment to sourcing from local farms and focusing on seasonal cuisine, a strong passion of his.
